Starters – Stephen Strasburg takes the mound for the Nationals tonight in an attempt to hit double digit wins for the first time in his young career. Strasbeast has struggled a bit lately by his standards, with a 3.76 era in his last 10 starts, but with some extra rest and a big ballpark to pitch in, he should return to dominance tonight. The Marlins will counter with Ricky Nolasco, who like Strasburg is mired in a bit of a slump himself, with an era near 5 in his last 10. However, Ricky has been better his last 3 starts and I think he’ll be pretty solid tonight. Advantage Nationals
I know I am a little late with this but considering almost every team still has 160 games left I still think it’s worth writing. I’m going to go through division by division, give my projected standings including win/loss records and give a short analysis on why I think that’s how they’ll end up. After that I’ll go through the playoff match-ups and give out my picks to win all the big regular season individual honors. Brace yourselves before reading O’s fans…
