Nationals at Red Sox: June 10th

Where: Fenway Park

When: 1:35 EST

The Starters: Zimmermann (3-5, 2.82) vs. Lester (3-4, 4.64)

The Line: Sox -140, Nats +120, O/U 9 Runs, Sox -1.5

Starters – Jordan Zimmermann will take the mound for the Nationals in an attempt to complete the 3-game sweep at Fenway Park. Zim has been a model of consistency this year, going at least 6 innings in every start and never allowing more than 4 earned runs. You can pretty much pencil him in for a quality start every time he takes the ball. Jon Lester has been a much less consistent, with a handful of disaster starts already in 2012. Lester has been one of the better lefties in the league the past 5 seasons but for whatever reason he’s been much more hittable this season. I think he’ll fare pretty well in Sunday’s game with the Fenway faithful though. Advantage Nationals

Should the Orioles Trade for Kevin Youkilis?

It has been no secret this season that 3rd base has been a big problem for the Orioles even amidst one of their best seasons in years. Whether it is Mark Reynolds who is batting .191 and has 7 errors or Wilson Betemit who is hitting .233 with 6 errors, it is pretty obvious to me that neither player is a good hiiter or fielder so really what are they good for. Mark Reynolds is the starter and will be as soon as he returns from the DL but even with him out, Betemit is not any better.
