It has been no secret this season that 3rd base has been a big problem for the Orioles even amidst one of their best seasons in years. Whether it is Mark Reynolds who is batting .191 and has 7 errors or Wilson Betemit who is hitting .233 with 6 errors, it is pretty obvious to me that neither player is a good hiiter or fielder so really what are they good for. Mark Reynolds is the starter and will be as soon as he returns from the DL but even with him out, Betemit is not any better.  Read more...
