The New York Knickerbockers took care of the Wizards tonight at the phone booth 107-93. Normally this would be fine but against a Melo and Stoudemire less team this is pretty terrible. Jeremy Lin killed the Wiz going for 23 points and 10 boards and I was very impressed with his quickness and vision. John Wall and Trevor Booker both had a good game for the Wiz putting up 29 and 17 respectively. Unfortunately, nobody else came to play making this team look as pathetic as ever. On the bright side I did pick the spread correctly so I am back to 2-3 on the year!… Until next time, Go Wiz!
Who: New York Knicks (10-15) at Washington Wizards (4-20)
When: 7 P.M. ET
Where: Verizon Center, Washington D.C.
Spread: Wizards -1.5
The Wizards are coming off their biggest winning streak of year at 1 one right now and are taking on the visiting Knicks who are coming in without Carmelo Anthony. The Knicks as a team has struggled this year with Anthony with their guard play being suspect at best with Baron Davis still sitting our with an injury. The last couple games though, the 2nd year player from Harvard, Jeremy Lin has been lighting it up putting up 28 and 25 pts in his last 2 games after averaging only about 5 points in his first 23 games. Once again somehow the Wizards are favored in this one, and as I think right now they are the 2nd worst team in the NBA behind the Bobcats, I have to go with the Knicks to win and cover tonight even without Melo. Though I am excited to see the Lin vs Wall matchup at the PG spot.
