Survival Pick: Houston over Miami
I am going to list all of the teams predicted records, and write something about each division champion im my predictions.
NFC East
Dallas Cowboys: 8-8
The Cowboys won their first game against the Giants and looked very good. I think 8-8 will be good enough to win this division,
Washington Redskins: 7-9
New York Giants: 7-9
Philadelphia Eagles: 7-9
NFC South
Atlanta Falcons: 12-4
The Falcons have so many offensive weapons and the Saints will be without their coach the whole season.
New Orleans Saints: 10-6
Carolina Panthers: 7-9

Finally the NFL season is here! So here are my annual NFL season predictions (first annual):
NFC EAST
Philadelphia Eagles 12-4: You’ve heard of the dream team? Well this is the mean team! Woosy man.. woosy man. Got my favorite space jam quote out of the way but I think this is the year that Vick finally stays healthy and with him healthy the Eagles have the chance to be pretty dominant. Only reason I don’t have Eagles with a better record is because the division is so difficult. I’m really hoping this pick is right or at least the Vick part because I have him on about half of my teams.
Today is a very big and exciting day for Beltway sports fans as not only are our two local NFL teams teeing off their preseason games tonight, but the Orioles have also called up their #2 prospect. In somewhat shocking news the O’s called up Bowie SS Manny Machado today and he will most likely start in tonight’s series opener against the Royals. This was super unexpected because Machado wasn’t even doing that great in Bowie (hitting like .260) and after most of their recent prospects have disappointed in the majors, it was thought that they would take their time and let Manny mature as much as possible in the minors but I guess how many times do the O’s compete for the playoffs (once in 15 years apparently).
