Lately I have been wondering if the Wizards should entertain a trade involving Nene. I understand he has only been with the Wizards for less than half a season in total and the sample size really isn’t big enough to give a full judgment on him as a future Wizard but with his contract I think it would be worth looking into.
Today Maryland officially announced that the they are going to be moving away from the Atlantic Coast Conference and into the Big Ten Conference. Personally as a fan I don’t like the move at all but I definitely understand why they did it. Though I have noticed an almost divided Terps nation right now between the people who want us to go and those who want us to stay. Those who want to go can’t possibly understand why we should want to stay in an ACC that was never the same after VT/BC/Miami came a long time ago and people who want to stay can’t understand (or maybe they can but don’t agree with it) why the Terps would choose to get more money rather than stick with the tradition of the ACC and all that it represents (opinions will differ on that front).
Before I recap last weekends games, I do want to say that I nailed last night’s 2 games. I predicted 27-21 Florida St over VTech and it ended up being 28-22 FL St and win the NFL I had the Colts 31-10 and the final score was Colts 27-10. I’m the best. But anyways for last weekends recap:
A couple of solid football games on tonight and by solid I mean pretty average for normal football fans but for gamblers I think they look pretty juicy. While these games are probably good to bet straight up, I think the best way to bet em are in a teaser format. In particular my favorite 3 team ten point teaser where you get -120 odds on your 3 teamer. Here is what I would do tonight if I was a betting man:

Ughhh well technically I would not have lost any money on this one because it was just a push but I was way off on this one. It wasn’t on TV so I didn’t watch it but Rowe wasn’t that good and he got hurt so now he is out for the season and we are out of scholarship QB’s… We now have our backup middle LB Shawn Petty (I think his name is) starting as a true freshman. Apparently the Terps played horrible in this one though, hence why we lost to the worst team in the ACC. I doub the Terps win another game this year.
Last Saturday night while I was in the car getting driven to baltimore for some Halloween celebrations when I checked my twitter and was shocked to read the words “James Harden has been traded to Houston for Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb, and picks”. I told fellow blogger Weaver this info and he responded with a “wow”. I guess that story really isn’t that interesting but I’ve already typed it and don’t feel like deleting it.
