Bundy and Machado Participate in MLB Futures Game

Last night Orioles top prospects Dylan Bundy and Manny Machado participated in the futures game. This game features all of the top prospects in the minors and is basically  supposed to be a preview of a “future” MLB All-Star game if you will. Like I said though the O’s had 2 participants this year and they both performed notably actually. Bundy pitched one inning and actually didn’t pitch very well allowing 3 hits in his one inning of work and didn’t look very sharp. However with his team putting up 17 runs and the balls flying off the bats, he didn’t do too poorly considering. He actually received the win in the game which is pretty cool I guess. Machado on the other hand had a very good game going 2-3 with a single and a double and knocking in 2 runs. The game was formatted so it featured the U.S. vs the World and Bundy and Machado were on the U.S. team that thumped the World squad in a 17-5 romp.
