Bundy Makes Frederick Debut, Allows First Earned Runs of Pro Career

19 year old phenom Dylan Bundy made his Keys debut tonight in front of a packed house at Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick. Bundy looked human for the first time in his young pro career, allowing 6 hits (allowed just 5 hits in 30 innings at Delmarva) and 2 earned runs in 5 innings of work with the damage being done on a 2-run homer by Salem first baseman Travis Shaw. Dylan did still demonstarte his amazing command though, striking out 6 without walking a single batter. Overall this was still another solid start for Bundy against the highest level of competition he’s faced so far, but I’ll admit it’s going to take a while to get used to seeing numbers other than 0 in his era.
