Even though the Orioles lost last night in a laugher against the Texas Rangers, they are still regarded as one of the best teams in the league at the moment and the national media is starting to pick up on it. I literally can’t remember the last time the Orioles were in the top half of any of these rankings but now they have managed to be ranked 1st on MLB.com and 6th on ESPN.com; they are also ranked 3rd in Bill Simmons Grantland rankings (written by Jonah Keri).
