Today Terrell Stoglin announced that he is returning to Maryland after a brief flirtation with the NBA. As I mentioned in yesterday’s season review, this was quite inevitable. Stoglin is simply not at the level of a NBA player despite being a 2nd team All-ACC performer this year. In order to get to that level he needs to work on his point guard skills as he projects to be a that position at the next level. It may surprise some fans but the best NBA prospect on the Terps is probably Center Alex Len. Stoglin is the best college player on the roster and his coming back keeps Maryland in contention for a possible NCAA bid. After two years of no postseason play that would be great for the impatient Maryland fan base.
